Charges That You Can't Reclaim As Unfair Bank Charges
There are cetain charges that you can't reclaim as unfair.
These include charges that you agreed before incurring them - as you are assumed to have agreed to them as being fair.
This includes charges such as:
• loan arrangement fees
• interest
• charges going back more than 6 years
• early redemption fees
• money transfer fees
Also, certain building societies are exempt due to the fact that they do not offer current accounts.
This includes Nationwide, Coventry, Leeds and Norwich & Peterborough.
