Unfair Bank Charges Test Case.
There is currently a test case brought about by major banks, that is due to be heard in the high court from 14th January.
Many banks are advising that customers should wait until after this case has been heard before deciding whether to try to make a claim.
The reason for this is that if the banks win, no further payouts are likely.
But delaying submitting your claim could cost you money.
Unless the ruling states otherwise, you can only claim back for the last 6 years.
Therefore, if you delay your claim by a few months, then the charges that become over 6 years old in that time might become unclaimable.
If you have charges that are approaching the 6 year deadline, we suggest that you seek immediate advice so as not to lose the right to claim.
